Ep 17: Let's Talk About The Birds And The ...Fu Dogs?
#NotACryptid - We both learned new things this week as Jess takes us on a little trip to ancient China and the history of the Fu Dogs! We initially thought these were in the 'mythological beast' category but we found out they are really just lions.
Hids takes us down under to Australia in 1932. Soldiers are coming home from the war and being given wheat farms, but a new battle arises. This one is against a very wary adversary: the emu! In a strange turn of events, a battalion of the Australian army goes up against 20,000+ emus...and loses.

A thing or two I forgot to mention: The Emu War in Pop Culture! There is a movie, (noted in the above Guardian article and linked below), and there's a single player game on the Steam platform!
